Send us Your Site Details.
We'll Advise on the Next Steps.
Tell us where the incident is and briefly explain what has happened. Photographs or video can help our team assess the situation before contacting you.
01
When should we call for an emergency bird callout for our building?
We most commonly receive emergency callouts when a single bird becomes trapped inside an enclosed commercial area or when an ongoing bird problem escalates and begins disrupting normal operations.
However, any situation where one or more birds pose an immediate operational, hygiene or safety risk should be discussed with a bird-control professional.
02
Can we remain operational during your visit?
In most cases, yes. Where it is safe to do so, we work around staff, visitors and day-to-day operations. If the affected area presents an immediate safety or hygiene risk, particularly within food-handling, production or other hygiene-sensitive environments, we may recommend restricting access or temporarily pausing activity in that area.
We will explain the safest and most appropriate course of action before work begins.
03
How quickly can you attend our site?
Response times depend on your location, the level of risk, site access and team availability. Send us the postcode, incident details and photographs or video where safe to do so. We can then assess the urgency and confirm the quickest appropriate next step.
04
What should we do while we wait for your team?
If safe, isolate the affected area, keep staff and visitors away and protect exposed food or stock. Avoid chasing, handling or cornering the bird.
Note its location and any likely entry point, and take photographs or video from a safe distance if possible.
05
Can you remove a bird trapped inside our building?
In most cases, yes. Before taking action, we assess the species, its location and physical condition, and whether an active nest or dependent young are present.
We then select the safest, lawful and most appropriate method of removal, prioritising humane, non-lethal measures wherever suitable.
06
What happens if there is an active nest?
We must establish whether the nest is active, the species involved and the risk it presents. Active nests are legally protected and cannot always be removed, even when affecting operations.
We will explain the available options and whether work needs to be adapted, delayed or appropriately licensed.
